THE EMMET GAVIOLI

Recently we went to Milton Keynes to work on two organs belonging to the Emmett Family. The 89 keyless Gavioli has not received maintenance for a few years and this year we were asked to carry out a service and a tune up. We plan to return to the organ next year to remove the Keyframe for an overhaul and make other adjustments to improve the instruments performance.

THE LYTHGOE BURSENS

This 68 key Arthur Bursens belongs to Mr Frank Lythgoe. The organ had been stood for about 10 years and the leather was perished in it. We got asked if we could releather and carry out emergency repairs on it in time for a forthcoming event. We will return soon to restore the Keyframe, percussion, new figure relay and improvements to the Midi system.

TURNER BROTHERS GAVIOLI

This organ once belonged to Turner Brothers. The bellows had started to show their age recently and a blower was sympathetically installed to keep the organ playing. Whilst there we tuned it, carried out necessary repairs to registers and other parts.
